Came to bike
week just a country girl
Went home all in leather and hair in a swirl
With thousands of Harley's roaring by
Seen lots of the ocean and blue open sky
Ran her feet through Daytona Beach sand
Listened to the David Allen Coe band
Splashed about the ocean wave
Found many a seashell to save
On the back of that Harley she rode
Up and down the open road
From the look on her face it eased her mind
She forgot about the everyday grind
But at the end of the week it was all done
The ocean, the sky, their riding and fun
Got back on a plane and back to her job
Sitting at work, she somehow felt robbed
The days and nights had come and gone fast
But she had great memories she knew would last
Then all of a sudden she heard a familiar sound
The sound of a Harley echoing off the ground
She put on her leathers with a big smile
And said to her man "let's go ride awhile"
They got on that Harley and hit the road
Now she knew how to ease the load
On the back of the bike out in the wind
And how she wishes it would never end
The feeling she got on the back of a bike
Is a feeling now she'll forever like!
